Occupational and Environmental Health and Safety Programs

As public awareness and government standards for business and industry have become more stringent, occupational health and safety issues have moved into the limelight. By stressing prevention over treatment, these issues have reduced costs and increased productivity. Progressive business leaders are paying close attention to workplace safety issues. Accident prevention is good business. It reduces direct business costs, such as workers’ compensation, and improves employee morale, productivity and quality. SPD is a leader in occupational health and safety training in the business community in Suffolk County and a prime resource for education in the workplace on a full-range of health and safety topics. There are many additional safety topics offered for the corporate community.
