Letters of Recommendation in Junior Year
Very often, junior year is time to make a big decision: Do I apply to med school this year or wait?
A lot of factors should be considered before deciding, but one thing that should NOT be a factor is letters of recommendation. Hopefully, you will feel comfortable about letters of recommendation, have some of them on file, and some more on the way.So if you don't have letters of recommendation, start asking for some now. If you feel that you do not have enough professors to ask yet, that means you need to visit office hours. Remember that it takes a few visits to get to know a professor or instructor, so the sooner you start the better.
